Well its the middle of May, this month is going by pretty fast. But it still does not even seem like spring. There are a few days once and a while that are really nice but almost every weekend it rains...Whats up with that.
I am almost 23 weeks pregnant. I got to see my little baby up on the US screen again yesterday. That is always amazing to me. And everything looks great. That makes me happy. He is 1 1/2 lbs.
Brody is getting more and more behaved everyday. He is still my "pain in the butt" dog but he is going to be great once he grows up some:):) And besides the jealous whining, ZAC is my little angel... My Boo bear.
So we went to the dog park last weekend and were having a great time. Running around, playing with other dogs, chasing sticks and balls. Brody gets a little tired, imagine that. And he is chillin under a tree. When all of a sudden a black bird starts to dive bomb him. Brody just kind of stood there looking around. I think he was too tired to actually do anything. This happened about 15 times. It was one of the funniest things ever. I wish I had my camera. Everyone at the park was laughing. I realized later there was probably a nest of babies in the tree he was under and that is why it was happening. But it was just soo funny seeing this big strong dog get attached by a tiny bird..
So for all yo u dog people I have a question about Brody. He has started chewing and licking his paw to the point where its raw and pus is coming out. Should I take him to the vet or is there something I can do to prevent it from getting worse. And why do they do this?
We did put on some neosporan and wrap it up last night. But that was the saddest thing I have ever seen. It was like he was completely broken. He all of a sudden could not walk on his leg. He was hiding because he was embarrassed. He came and layed on my lap with his head hidden. And every time he stood up he tried to kick it off. Again i should have taken a picture but did not have my camera close enough. I need to get in the habit.
Well thats about it for now. Hopefully soon I will get into the camera habit and add some photos. until then enjoy and have a wonderful week...

Some dogs do it as a way of soothing themselves. If it is infected I would clean it with hydrogen peroxide a few times a day and put an e-collar on his head so it can heal. They have e-collars fairly reasonably priced at PetSmart (vets charge a leg and a paw). If it doesn't heal that way a trip to the vet would be necessary. Poor Brody!
Poor Brody! I hope his foot is feeling better. Hershey had her foot bandaged for over a month last year. It was the most pathetic thing ever.
Nothing funnier than a dog being dive-bombed by a bird, either.
Poor Brody!
