37 weeks

Well I just finished typing up a post about these pictures and it was all erased. GRRR I do not feel like typing the whole thing, nor do I remember it all.
But This is me at 37 weeks. And the picture of me in the chair is where I spend 90% of my time. I am soo sick of that chair. Its funny it was a gift to my mom and dad a few Christmas's ago. But all I do is go from chair to chair to couch to bed. I read and read and type, watch some TV , sit here, do not much. Its getting really old. And its soo uncomfortable sitting here all the time.
I really want to thank everyone for the cards, care packages and just visits. Its been very nice and really helped lift my spirits.
Only a few days left, I just pray that I will be ok after my baby is born. I want to be out of pain and walking again. And I want a healthy baby boy...

Battle Of the Bones-Ashland Oregon 2007

This last weekend my Brother-in-law Jacob was in a BBQ competition. It was out at Emigrant lake here in Ashland. There were about 10 contestants in the contest. You would pay to get in and get a ticket to to vote. You go around to all the booths and try all the different meat. On Saturday was all chicken and Sunday was beef ribs and brisquet. The beef was donated by Kobe beef, which if you do not know its the best meat you can eat.
Jadyn and Kasha helped served the meet all weekend. They were great helpers. Everyone had a great time. and oh my gosh the meat was sooo good.
Well to make a long story short. Jacob won first place for chicken and second for his beef. It was very exciting. He is now being offered to do more competitions and they won a pretty decent prize.
Congrats to Skelton Crew, Jacobs team...

My entertainment

Ginger in her pink dress!!!

Jadyn, our little angel.....
Well luckily I am easily entertained, because right now there is not much that I can do. So I look forward to my niece Jadyn coming over, because I can watch her for hours. And when they come over they usually bring their little dog Ginger over and she is soo cute and soo funny. And for some reason Zac loves to run around and play with her. He has never been much of a dog dog, he is more of a people person.
They really make me laugh, and it does make me feel better when I can laugh that much.
Yesterday my mom and I went to Jadyn's last day of camp and they had a big carnival party. It was lots of fun. There was a dunk tank, cake walk, face painting, nail painting, pizza, pools, all sorts of fun stuff. We went and hung out with Jadyn for a few hours. It was really nice to get out and fun to watch her. So I am being entertained as much as I can and its nice...

Hump Day

Hump day does not really have much of a meaning when you do not work. Today was pretty good but is ending up to be not soo good. Last night was pretty bad as well.
Last night i was in pain all night and it would just not go away. I was also super hot and could not get comfortable. I can not even turn myself over without the help of someone or something. And getting up to turn a fan on is out of the question. i will save all my getting up for when i have to use the restroom. which is 3 times a night.
Today i had my first doctors apt with my new doc down here. I have known her for a while, she is super nice. My sister has worked for her for about 7 years. She treats me like family, so i feel very comfortable in her care.
She thinks all my pain is caused by my not soo little baby that i am growning. And that it will all go away when i have him. That was nice to hear because at this point i feel like i will be in pain and not be able to walk ever again. Everything is fine for the baby, i was glad about that. I just wish that I had some relief. Nothing helps:(:( But i must say being in the care of my parents does help. By the way I added some pics of their house, that is where i will be for the next few weeks. They have a very nice back yard, but i can not get to it.
Well the doc said i will be induced August30Th and hopefully have my baby the next day. We will see what happens. That is only 15 days away. Short considering how long i have been pregnant, long consider i can not walk and i am in pain.
I have my little dog Zac here with me and he has been great. He has been soo worried and concerned about me. He does not understand why my legs turned into wheels and why everyone is always around helping me out. And when i am alone with no help he looks around to see where anyone is, to help me. He is really worried. I wish i could explain. Although he is in for a big surprise when i have my baby.

35 1/2 weeks and counting

Well i am sure all of you know i am pregnant and am actually almost there. But not There enough. For the most part things have been going well. Up until 7/10/07 to be exact. I started to get pain in my legs and was not really able to do much. And no one really knew why. I went to my doctor, they sent me to Physical Therapy, and that did not help much. I went to a chirpractor and he told me i have herniated disc that got worse with pregnancy. So things got worse and worse each day. i was first using a walker to get around and then i was not able to even get up and walk at all anymore. So my work got me a wheelchair and that helped a lot. But when i was at home alone i was helpless, then i got to the point where i could not even make it upstairs to take a shower. My family down in Ashland called and told me to come down there and they can help me. So Dave and I decided that was probaby the best thing ever. So I am now down in Ashland, I have a wheelchair, a ramp to the car, a disabled parking pass, and all the help I need. All I can say is Thank God for wonderful familys....
Since I am not at work and not at my home I do not have much i have to do or that I can physically do I will have time to blog. And if anyone has any suggestions for things i can do while sitting here for the next 3 weeks please please please let me know. I am willing to do or try anything.
I go to see a doctor tomorrow down here and we will talk about when i can be induced. The sooner the better, but i want to make sure my baby will be ok. I am just hoping and praying that I will be able to walk ok when all of this is done...

Water Boys

Well we all went down to Ashland for Memorial Day weekend and it was a great weekend. One of the things we had planned was to go to the lake and go kayaking. Which we did but we also go to take the dogs. and that was a blast. It was our first time with Brody at the water. So we were not sure what to expect.
Well besides that facct we still had to keep him tied up because we do not trust him yet, he loved loved loved the water. It was great. And it was great watching him.
And I have brought Zac to water many times but he would have nothing to do with it. But as soon as I got into the Kayak and started to take off he ran after me. Not realizing that he was getting into water. But this time he did not seem to mind it and he was in and out the whole time. But as you can see he is magical. He can run on water:):)

Brody was in for a while but the one thing was as soon as he could not reach the bottom he would sink. But I think since he is not at all scacred of the water and he liked being there that we can teach him to swim. I think he was just shocked the first time he could not reach. It was kinda funny. had to laugh at the poor baby.
The best part about this whole day was when we got back to my parents house both dogs were dead to the world. They were soo tired they did not even budge. Can't wait to take them again this weekend....

Tuesday, May 15, 2007

Well its the middle of May, this month is going by pretty fast. But it still does not even seem like spring. There are a few days once and a while that are really nice but almost every weekend it rains...Whats up with that.
I am almost 23 weeks pregnant. I got to see my little baby up on the US screen again yesterday. That is always amazing to me. And everything looks great. That makes me happy. He is 1 1/2 lbs.
Brody is getting more and more behaved everyday. He is still my "pain in the butt" dog but he is going to be great once he grows up some:):) And besides the jealous whining, ZAC is my little angel... My Boo bear.
So we went to the dog park last weekend and were having a great time. Running around, playing with other dogs, chasing sticks and balls. Brody gets a little tired, imagine that. And he is chillin under a tree. When all of a sudden a black bird starts to dive bomb him. Brody just kind of stood there looking around. I think he was too tired to actually do anything. This happened about 15 times. It was one of the funniest things ever. I wish I had my camera. Everyone at the park was laughing. I realized later there was probably a nest of babies in the tree he was under and that is why it was happening. But it was just soo funny seeing this big strong dog get attached by a tiny bird..
So for all yo u dog people I have a question about Brody. He has started chewing and licking his paw to the point where its raw and pus is coming out. Should I take him to the vet or is there something I can do to prevent it from getting worse. And why do they do this?
We did put on some neosporan and wrap it up last night. But that was the saddest thing I have ever seen. It was like he was completely broken. He all of a sudden could not walk on his leg. He was hiding because he was embarrassed. He came and layed on my lap with his head hidden. And every time he stood up he tried to kick it off. Again i should have taken a picture but did not have my camera close enough. I need to get in the habit.
Well thats about it for now. Hopefully soon I will get into the camera habit and add some photos. until then enjoy and have a wonderful week...
