Dog Bed
OK so we got Brody his own dog bed, a big nice one and he laid by the fire on it most of the day SAT. and Sun. so it defiantly smelled like him and he liked it. BUT when it came time to actually go to sleep he wanted nothing to do with it. I tried to lay on the ground with him, we kept kicking him off the bed. I think he slept on it for a few hours but when we woke up he was in bed with us..AHHHHHH what to do, I am open to suggestions....I am tired...

We bought our dog Dempsey a thick doggie bed as she sleeps downstairs, not with us but instead she sneaks up and sleeps on every chair and loveseat and couch in the house whenever she can get away with it. Ugh. Wish I could help... I'm guessing Elaine can't either.
Thanks... I do not even care if he sleeps on the sofa's chairs, anything, just not in bed with us. he is a giant log that takes up too much space. I know we will figure this out somehow...
Buy a bigger bed so you can all have enough room. Ha!!
Hmm...I suppose it's too late for crate training... How about an extra-tall baby gate at the top of the stairs? Lock him downstairs at night?
I agree with Norma...buy a bigger bed. Poor Brody had a rough youngsterhood and wants the cuddle time. Can you blame him? I got Twinky a nice bed that she loves but it's hard to get the cat out of it!
Geez, Carley, you ever going to update your blog??? You've passed the one month mark once again!
:-)
Update, update, update! We miss hearing from you.
{pounding fists on the table}
UP-DATE! UP-DATE! UP-DATE!
O.K. Carley you do realize we've all but given up hope for your blog. Why don't you blog about something new that's going on in your life... there's got to be something? Either that or delete the whole thing and stop teasing us! Pleeeease.
Good for people to know.
